Centralized Captive Portal

Intraway employs a dynamic and centralized captive portal, which can change its look and price policies depending on the Access Point or geographical area from which the user is connected. The centralized captive portal offers the advantage of simplifying to a minimum business rules changes because they are managed from just one place.

No Gateways, Aggregators or Access Controllers are required

Intraway has developed a new firmware for Access Points from Linksys. Apart from keeping the Access Point's capabilities, it adds the capacity to work as an access gateway, allowing the implementation of a complete Hotspot with just one or several Linksys Access Points and a regular Internet access from any provider. In order to support other types of Access Points which cannot have an internal gateway, Intraway supports Cisco SSG as a network aggregator. The opportunity to decentralize access controllers and move them inside the Access Points makes this solution the cheapest in the market.

When centralized aggregators, gateways or access controllers are used, the Access Points must be connected to such devices through a private network, usually proprietary. With Intraway, each Access Point includes an Access Gateway that can be deployed using any standard Internet connection, even behind a firewall.

In addition to extend the range beyond the operator's network, this advantage makes this solution the easiest to implement, since the same installers who are performing residential installations in the area can set up the CPE.

Prepaid Cards, Pricing and Billing Policies

Intraway includes a complete module to define pricing policies and to generate and manage prepaid cards. This module allows the configuration of each one of the Hotspots according to particular business needs. Those include the possibility of using different pricing policies ranging from fixed time and variable time, several uses, one shot, different prices depending on the place of access or the selected speed, roaming, external Radius verification, connections with credit cards and more.

Complete and Comprehensive Reports

Intraway offers powerful reports that are also easy to generate and understand. A specially designed application allows the generation and visualization of the online reports or the exportation of them to a file for its analyzes with external tools like Microsoft Excel. Among hundred of other data, thanks to this module the user can get any kind of usage statistics: by zone, affiliate or Hotspot.

Network Monitoring, Alarms and Notifications

Knowing the current network status is essential to offer a service with the greatest degree of trustworthiness. Intraway monitors constantly each one of the Access Points connected to the network, generating different types of alarms and notifications if an unexpected event occurs.

Customer Care Management

Intraway has a customer care module that allows to cope to most common difficulties users experience, like for example password changes, traffic analysis, connections bonuses and more.
